Split MP3 is a tool without more pretensions than to accomplish its task, that is no other than to extract a segment of audio from an MP3 file.

  This functional simplicity makes this program the ideal tool to extract songs from our favorite DJs sessions or audio fragments from our songs or favorite recordings to use them subsequently as tones and alarms.

  What's more we can store the the extracted audio in the audio format of our choice: MP3, WAV, AAC, WMA, M4A or AC3, as well as modulate its bitrate.

  With a rather simple design, the way the program works is very basic: first we mark the start and the end of the segment, and then we extract it storing it in a folder.

  What's more, we can listen to the selection to better adjust it, and if we realize that it is too long, we can crop a few seconds or if on the contrary it is too short, we can add a few seconds to the selection.

  No matter is simplicity and lack of pretensions, it is an application that can become essential for music lovers.
